The Bridal Barn & Tux Shoppe was established in 1989 by Elaine DeLorme out of her home in Shelburne Falls, MA. Elaine’s goal was to provide quality formal wear at a reasonable price. Her motto of “Serving our Customers with Honesty and Integrity” was a testament to her mission to provide superior service to all of her customers. Due to increasing business, Elaine, in 1995, opened the store at the current 425 Greenfield Road, Deerfield, MA location.

In 2007, Elaine decided it was time to retire. Her daughter Karen Hartwright, who has worked in the store for the past 10 years, together with her husband Ken, purchased the business in January 2008, and are excited to continue in the same tradition of excellence in the years to come.
